On projects of great complexity involving extreme loading situations and or high value cargo we can produce our own lashing and tipping calculations to satisfy our clients of the safety of the cargo during transport again. In order to do do this we again work with our trusted external colleagues to produce accurate calculations for lashing and tipping points of the various pieces of cargo.
Using our own in house software for loads of extreme weight, or for sites with extreme gradients on varying surfaces we are also able to determine the tractive force necessary to safely transport the load to its destination. In these scenarios we would also consult with our external colleagues on this to ensure safety. These calculations are used to determine the amount of torque necessary to pull/push loads over some of the steeper gradients.
