4 35m beams were delivered last week for Banagher Precast Concrete to Silvertown in London. Here they can be seen being steered around the mart in Birr.
For this project we coordinated end to end logistics with Banagher, their end client, the shippers, Highways England, TFL, M25 Connect and the Met Police to ensure delivery into the heart of London went as smoothly as possible with minimal impact on the local communities
A route survey was conducted meaning that only some slight alterations to street furniture were necessary to facilitate the movement along with identifying the need for the closure of a layby on the A20 for our drivers to take their rest and have somewhere safe to meet police to move onwards into London.
